Raised in North Spokane and current and past residents of Suncrest, Randy Bunday and Jim Kerr are more than local boys, they own a small town business with individualized customer service. For about 10 years,
Jim and Randy worked together for a large builder of pole buildings, they saw areas in the business that they would handle differently than their employer.
With Jim’s 27 years experience in pole building construction and Randy’s 10 + years of experience in the business and management side of pole building they decided to start their own business. In 2001 Bunker Buildings, LLC., a division of Bunker Steel Buildings, Inc., became their own. As a small local business they wanted to focus on their community with not just a dependable quality product, but personal customer service being a priority.

With an office staff of five and a building staff of about 20, the majority of their employees have been with them from the beginning. All trained to provide you with a top quality product with superior customer service. Though the majority of their clients are residential, some of Bunker Buildings’ commercial customers include Dog Haven Kennels and the Stonelodge Fire Departments’ maintenance shop. They have managed to erect over 80 new buildings in the Lake Spokane area alone in their 7 years of business and 100s more on into Deer Park and the North Spokane areas, mostly through word of mouth referrals.

Through their local list of subcontractor references, your building can be wired for electricity, plumbing and even framed out for extra storage or living spaces. For the Horses lover, Bunkers’ barns can include custom fit stalls constructed right in Deer Park, Wa.
As long time residents of the Lake Spokane and North Spokane communities, keeping their money in the community is important to both Jim and Randy. They hire local, sub-contract local and support local. Jim is a sports enthusiasts and father, because of this Bunker Buildings is an active sponsor for a Volleyball and Softball team. Randy’s love of cars drives him toward involvement that includes the Lake Spokane Community 4th of July and Suncrest Auto Parts Show and Shine Car Show where he will be showing some of his toys at this years’ event.
